The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has submitted proposals for new areas for offshore wind development outside Norway.

This offers great opportunities for all players who want to develop or supply equipment and services to the offshore wind sector.

Blåse Energi is looking to expand its current activities to potentially develop these areas for new renewable energy production. The identified areas enable Norway to award areas corresponding to a potential of 30 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2040.

Blåse Energi is currently active on Utsira North which should spearhead Norway’s  offshore wind ambitions.
