The government has announced the first areas for offshore wind development on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The two areas are Sørlige Nordsjø II which will feature bottom-fixed wind turbines, while Utsira Nord will be for floating wind turbines.

The partnership in Blåse Energi will contribute actively to realizing the potential for floating offshore wind on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The three partners; NorSea, Parkwind and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), are actively working to submit an application for Utsira Nord.
